Each year women with passion and drive to make a difference are nominated to be part of the Woman of Impact campaign. Nominees bring together their network to form a team, set a goal, explore fundraising resources, and have a direct impact on our community. This group of women will be celebrated for the overall impact they have on our mission and community.  The woman who brings her network together to have the largest impact will be named the 2022 Westchester Woman of Impact Award winner!

Getting Started

1. RECRUIT YOUR IMPACT TEAM - When building your team, don’t just think of gathering your 10 closest friends. To have the greatest impact possible, you want to include people who represent different areas of your life to help engage all those networks more deeply.
2. BUILD A PLAN WITH THE AHA STAFF - Each team will be coached and receive resources to maximize their impact. Your team will learn different ways to raise funds, as well as how to engage in direct impact activities to paint the town red and save more lives!
3. MAKE A LASTING DIFFERENCE - Lead the way for the next generation and empower more women to take charge of their health.

Campaign Dates

• Now! – Nominations, Orientation, & Strategy Meetings
• December – Winter Social to get to know fellow nominees.
• January 13^th – National Nominee Bootcamp - Hear from last year’s top changemakers.
• February 4^th – Campaign Launch on National Wear Red Day!
• March 8^th – International Women’s Day Rally
• April 7^th – Campaign Concludes on World Health Day
• April – Westchester Woman of Impact Celebration
• May 12^th - National Woman of Impact Celebration – Join with nominees across the country to celebrate!
